Much of the ginger that leaves Ghana is aggregated through layers of traders. The buyer rarely knows which field it came from, and the farmer rarely knows what it was worth. Origin was set up to remove those layers.

We hold the land, test the soil before planting, log every field activity, and grade and pack at the farm. When you ask us a question about a lot, the answer comes from a record, not a guess.

We are a young company with a standing crop and a clear plan: fresh rhizome first, then the processed formats as the line comes online. We would rather tell you that plainly than dress it up.
