How we farm

From seed rhizome to a packed lot, all under one roof.

This is what turns a curious buyer into a confident one: proof that we run the operation ourselves rather than broker somebody else's crop.

Stage 1
Plant
Seed rhizomes go into raised, soil-tested beds at the start of the rains. Every bed belongs to a mapped block, so we always know what was planted where — and when.
Stage 2
Tend
Weeding, mulching and moisture checks are logged as field activities. Problems are caught early because someone from the team is in the field every week.
Stage 3
Irrigate
Water is run out along the ridges from the farm's own supply, so the crop is not left to the rains alone through the dry spells.
Stage 4
Harvest
Rhizomes are lifted by hand at maturity and cured in shade before grading, so skins stay intact and shelf life is protected.
Stage 5
Pack
Graded produce is packed to each buyer's specification, labelled by lot, and dispatched on the schedule agreed in the quotation.
